Dream Catchers

This week we are sourcing authentic dream catchers made by American Indians here in the USA. I went out to the desert and found some very attractive handmade dream catchers, so much nicer than the Chinese knock-offs of these beautiful creations.
Dream Catchers are a natural cousin to our Wind Dancers, as they also interact with the elements of nature and energy.
According to the Plains Indians The Dream Catcher is hung by the window or at the head of your bed. The bad dreams get caught in the web. The good dreams work their way through the hole in the centre, rest on the feathers like a dew drop and evaporate to the Great Spirit in the morning sun. The prayer beds on the Dream Catcher trap all the bad dreams that are left on the web and burn them up.
Dream Catchers are beautiful, timeless ornaments with a special purpose and make a wonderful gift to yourself and others. Many of our customers have asked us why we do not sell Dream Catchers as it is a natural fit with our other products and we realized they were right so we decided to go to the source directly, talk to the Navajo Indians that make them and bring some examples back to the UK.
We hope you like them as much as we do, if you have never owned a piece of American Indian art, now you can! Enjoy your dream catcher as it gently flutters in the window near your bed and know it is steeped in an ancient protective legend
